Wiring harness Ducati/race ignition

Simple wiring harness for Ducati ignition and race igniton with light coils! The kit is suitable for Ducati ignition and for example MVT and HPI ignition and other race ignition with light coils.

This set without additional connections includes the following connections:

• For the headlight
• For the taillight
• For the ignition switch
• For voltage regulator
• For the stator light coil
• For battery (in battery version)

The 12V Garage wiring harnesses are built with quality in mind! The connectors are the popular and well-known Deutsch DT waterproof connectors (not genuine from the original manufacturer). As the cheaper option you can get basic flat connectors.

Wire: 1,5mm vehicle wire.

Protection: wiring harness coating/Fleece tape.

Accessories and materials used in wiring harnesses

Ducati/racing wiring harnesses work with almost all 12V DC voltage regulators that have a single power input. The most guaranteed functionality comes with the Derbi 6-pin voltage regulator! Make sure you know the connection order before installing the wiring harness!

It is recommended to crimp the mating connector pins with crimping pliers made for non-insulated connectors. The mating connector pins can also be fitted with needle-nose pliers if crimping pliers are not available. We Always send a few more mating connector pins than necessary in case of installation errors.

Battery-powered harness operation:

The lights come on when you turn the ignition on. The moped turns off when you turn the ignition off. The battery charges when the moped is running. If desired, a battery-powered wiring harness can be made to work without a battery with a small modification.

Batteryless wiring harness operation:

The lights come on when the moped is running. The moped turns off at the ignition. A batteryless wiring harness must not be operated with a battery.

The wiring harness comes with:

• Connector counterparts
• 5A fuse
• Connection instructions

It is also possible to buy a wiring harness by sending the electrical components to us by post and we will attach the mating connectors etc. directly to the electrical components and test the functionality.
